Aula’s mission is to ensure everyone can have a voice in the conversation around AI in society. As the technology becomes a significant part of our lives, it is important that governance serves the many, not just the few. My research addresses socio-technological challenges arising from our increasing reliance on data-driven generative systems, informed by my experience in software development, defence, and fintech. I joined Aula because I have seen the far-reaching consequences of technological capability without adequate discussion of its implications. The Fellowship provides a space to bridge application and policy, connecting with others working at this intersection.
