Aula seeks to create and enable inclusive conversations on AI. I joined Aula because of the language
used to convey their work and mission. It was important to note that they publicly disclosed their
sources of funding and that they were not financially tied to Big Tech in any manner. I have been
writing about Big Tech, AI and their impacts on labor and society, drawing both on my experience
working in tech as well as by following up on the latest research, etc.. Joining Aula will help me build
on these topics with a policy-focused lens and discover new ways to introduce more and more people
to the conversation.
