Uloma Okoro is an AI governance and public policy researcher with over 15 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and technology governance. She serves as Head of Legal services and Compliance at a leading fintech company in Lagos, Nigeria, where she supports regulatory engagement and emerging digital governance frameworks. Her research focuses on responsible AI, algorithmic accountability, and comparative governance across the UK, EU, and Africa. She is also a Fellow of  the Open School Initiative’s AI Literacy programme for African Policymakers.
