Daryl Palmer is a Risk & Compliance and Data Privacy Law specialist with experience working with the ISO 31000 standards. He has a wide knowledge of privacy frameworks and building Enterprise Risk Management programmes. Additionally, Palmer has extensive knowledge in AML, CPF and CTF techniques, practices, procedures and regulations as well as the practical knowledge of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, e-Privacy Regulations, LEPD, the California’s CCPA/CPRA, the COPPA, HIPPA and functional knowledge of PIPEDA.
Palmer is dually qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica and as an Australian Lawyer who has practical experience and interest in commercial, property (conveyancing), wills and estate, litigation, banking, insurance, labour law, privacy law and personal injury law. He has over 15 years of experience in banking and the financial services, with emphasis on retail banking, customer service and insurance products and operations.
