Category: Fellow Anita Parmar, Ph.D.

Anita works at the intersection of strategy, people, and execution, helping organizations function better under complexity. Her career has deliberately spanned academia, industry, and the nonprofit sector as a way of understanding how change actually happens in large systems.

She brings over fifteen years of experience aligning people with different perspectives around shared goals, strengthening decision-making and collective performance. Much of her work has focused on building and leading interdisciplinary initiatives inside established institutions, where collaboration is essential but rarely easy.

Trained as a theoretical physicist, she combines analytical rigor with a practical approach to organizational design and leadership. She is  particularly interested in innovation ecosystems — across higher education, public policy, and emerging technologies such as AI — where cross-sector collaboration and evidence-based thinking are critical.
