Summer Retreat for People Working on AI & Society

Building Trust Through Connection

August 11-14th, 2026

Orford, Quebec, Canada

This is a gathering of people working on AI and its societal implications, including Aula Fellows and others who work in this space: researchers, policymakers, engineers, and organizers.

The retreat is designed for connection across disciplines. Over several days, participants share time together through conversation, meals, and activities in a relaxed setting. The focus is on getting to know one another, exchanging perspectives, and building relationships that extend beyond the retreat.

This will be held at La Jouvence, an all-inclusive lake and forest resort in the Estrie region of Quebec, August 11th to 14th, 2026.
